Each year Goodwill, The Amity Group presents awards to outstanding individuals:

The Achiever of the Year

This award is given to the person who in spite of significant barriers to employment has worked with Goodwill Works to find and maintained employment. The recipient of this award is a person who possesses an extremely positive attitude, an excellent work ethic, and who works hard to maintain a high level of competency at their job. The recipient of this award has held their employment for over a year and the employer supports the employee’s nomination for the award.

The Worker of the Year

This award is given to a person who is a long-term worker within Goodwill, The Amity Group’s Work Activity Centre. The recipient works diligently to get along with their co-workers and always tries their best.  The recipient of this award take pride in their work and is a joy to work with.

The Business Partner of the Year

This award is given to an employer who has hired through Goodwill Works and has made special contributions in the hiring of a Goodwill Works client or in assisting Goodwill Works clients in preparing for employment. The recipient of this award is supportive and encouraging both to the work undertaken by Goodwill but also to its clients.
